About 200 meters from the shore you see Mochlos Island with its small white chapel. This ancient settlement was connected to the mainland in recent time. Until today some of the old rock grave chambers and foundation walls of various buildings are preserved. As of today, excavations are carried out.
A small fishing boat brings the people interested in archeology for little money over to the island. On calm days, you may convince the captain to take you on a longer boat trip.
